The Octopus Revolution: The Beginning of Something Fun.

My name is Steven, and I am the founder of The Octopus Revolution LLC. Thank you for taking the time to stumble into this blog and I am excited that you're here for the journey.

First, I think it is very appropriate to talk about the name. Why "The Octopus Revolution"? Are Octopus's invading and taking over? Unfortunately, our cephalopod friends will not be organizing the next great revolution. Truth be told, I was looking for ideas on how to start a business. I came across the ideas of domain flipping where one buys a catchy domain for cheap, flips the website to get more traffic and sell the domain for a higher price once complete. The field expresses that you come up with something catchy, and I feel like I did just that with this random thought in my head, The Octopus Revolution.

This grew into a new adventure that I never expected to take. I didn't flip the domain as I was too attached to the name and thought this would be a great brand idea and I should build around it. This was a great challenge for me as it pushed myself to be as successful as I could. The result is what we have today. A simple shop with a few custom octopus designs and products that people can add to their collection. 

But this is just part of the experiment. The Octopus Revolution is not just a brand where I am trying to sell merchandise to your front door, I wanted it to be something more and that where this blog comes in. This blog will give me ways to connect with the community that we foster together. To share with you my experiences, content, reviews and product releases. To answer all your questions and a place to take your feedback. 

You won't just see me on here this website, but you'll probably find me elsewhere on various social media channels like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and many other places. Hopefully you'll see me in other ways as I expand this business. I want to make sure our content is available to everyone and emphasizes just one major value. Honesty. I am here to be honest and upfront with you on everything I do, I expect honesty back good or bad a result.
